I love to dance. I have been dancing since I was 8 years old, and continue to both attend classes and choreograph my own routines every week. I'm also deeply annoying (I apologise) and love my yoga, but I promise I don't preach about it! I also love the theatre, I grew up around it, and acting has been a huge part of my life since I was a very young child. I adore going to exhibitions and galleries, and enjoy some amateur art myself - I am currently working on a series called "Women Eating", which is a series of portraits of various different women eating messily - because we so rarely see it in the media!

I have a blog, Life Of A Fruitcake, that discusses mental health, body image, what it's like to be a young woman, the toxicity of diet culture, and the manipulation of capitalism. I started the blog in May 2020, and have been consistently writing posts since then. I pride myself on writing raw, honest and darkly comedic pieces, that aim to be both thought provoking and relatable, and through this, have developed a close connection with much of my readership. I have written articles for various publications, including the Ham&High newspaper in London, HEROICA magazine, and Mission Statement Magazine. Before focussing on writing full-time, I worked in a primary school, which taught me patience, how to effectively communicate with different audiences, and how to keep lessons/presentations engaging.
