Hi, my name’s Carolyn and I’m the founder of Word Tonic 🙂
I’m also a 26 year old copywriter who’s been in the industry for NINE YEARS.
So I’ve had lots of time to go through what worked, what didn’t and all the fuck ups I don’t want you to make (pls don’t make them bby).
But also…I’ve been dealt a fucking weird hand in life - and still managed to get into this career.
I quit uni to look after my alcoholic parents (so I don’t have a degree).
I went into escorting to get by.
I did drugs (I’m not shitting you).
I was in a baaaaaad place.
But copywriting changed it all. And I really can’t wait to share some of the unique things I’ve learnt along the way with you.
Bcs I think it’s a lot cooler to learn from someone with a lot of different experiences, than some adschool creative director.
*and yes, I swear a lot. And I’m fucking weird. And I’ll be bringing that energy into my coaching with you.*
HOW DOES THE
PROGRAM WORK?
Think of it as personalised group coaching ;)
You’ll be put into a small, intimate cohort of no more than ten lovely people - just like you. All GEN-Z too 🙂
And every week, we’ll be hopping on a live coaching call together where I will mentor you on all things PORTFOLIOS AND COPYWRITING.
WHAT TIMES DO I NEED TO BE AVAILABLE?
You just need to be available once a week ;)
And you can choose one of two times:
EVERY WEDNESDAY 8PM UK TIME/3PM EST TIME
OR
EVERY THURSDAY 10PM UK TIME/5PM EST TIME
But you can write me on Whatsapp whenever!

The main focus of the program is on getting you to build a solid portfolio - that’s vetted by me and Word Tonic. And to get you job ready.
Even if you don’t have a portfolio - we’ll build one together., You and me.
And if you DO have a portfolio but aren’t getting gigs? We’ll elevate it. And I'll show you how to make it stand out.
You’ll also be creating work for your portfolio, and getting live feedback from me on it every week.
AND LOTS AND LOTS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
We might be doing group coaching sessions but I’m also gonna be catching up with you personally every week.
I know some of you bitches struggle REAL hard with accountability so I will be poking you with a stick.
And you will like it.
So on top of all the other stuff, you’ll also get access to my Whatsapp - so I’ll be able to bump you here and there to make sure you’re doing shit.

When does the program start?
Training officially starts first week of July but we are enrolling people now so we have time to prep materials. We’ll also be giving you a form to fill in outlining all your goals - so we can send you a personalised roadmap this month ahead of the program start date.
Do I need experience to join? I know fuck all?
Nope! This is made for total newbies. So if you’re sat there thinking….I don’t even know where to begin.
This is for you.
Can I fit this around a job/studies?
Yes! We’ll only be meeting once a week - and all sessions will be recorded. So you can watch them back later if you happen to miss one. But also - you can reach out to me personally whenever you want.
Do I get a certificate at the end of the program?
Yes! You’ll get a certificate - as well as a written letter of recommendation from me and Word Tonic. You can pop this on your resume, as well as your LinkedIn.
